Appointment Policy

Cornwall Veterinary Hospital sees pets by appointment only. However, if a life threatening emergency occurs, we will making every attempt to see your pet immediately. Please call to let us know you are on your way if this occurs, unless that is not possible. Naturally, all pets waiting to be seen by one of our doctors or staff should be in a carrier or on a leash for the safety of your pet and other patients/pets that are waiting to be seen.

Some pets become very nervous or even fearful when entering our hospital or during examination at any veterinary hospital. This is a relatively common problem and do not be afraid to let us know if your pet has any tendencies of this. By letting us know how your pet may feel, we will be able to take the special precautions important to maintain the safety of our staff, but also be able to improve the visit for your pet by offering alternative techniques that may make your pet less fearful. Also, if your pet is overdue/not current on vaccinations, make sure to inform the receptionist upon arrival and we can make recommendations to you.
